After Kalros takes down the Reaper, you'll approach The Shroud and your STG Doctor, either Mordin or Wiks, will update you on Eve's status. The effects of this choice will come to fruition during "Priority: Tuchanka" in Mass Effect 3.
If you picked "Genophage was the right call" or "Destroy the data for now", the data will be destroyed. If you picked "You should help the krogan" or "Hold onto the data", Mordin will save Maelon's data. While you're presented with an initial "His research was sick" / "Might be worth keeping" choice, the real decision comes afterwards. While it doesn't look it at the time, this choice effectively determines whether Eve will live or die.Īt the end of Mordin's Loyalty Mission, Old Blood, you'll be faced with the choice to destroy Maelon's data or keep it. The fate of Eve is actually determined by a choice you make in Mass Effect 2. If you didn't recruit Wrex during Citadel: Expose Saren, or had him killed on Virmire, he will be replaced by his brother Wreav, who leads Clan Urdnot in Mass Effect 2 and 3. If you recruited Wrex during Citadel: Expose Saren and were able to convince him to stand down on Virmire, he will be alive as the leader of Clan Urdnot in Mass Effect 2 and 3. The first factor that influences things is whether or not Wrex is alive, and is something that was decided all the way back in Mass Effect 1. 
The true effects on this Mission's outcome are decided on three choices you've made, one in each game of the trilogy. It takes place in the finale of the Krogan mission line, Priority: Tuchanka. This section deals with the fate of the the Krogan, including that of Eve, but also your Salarian STG Specialist, who will be either Mordin Solus or Padok Wiks.
